CIBE Membership

Direct Membership

For business owners, high school graduates and college/university graduates.

Registration Procedures and Fees
Associate membership fees of $300 (Three Hundred US Dollars) comprising application fees $100 (One Hundred US Dollars), membership fee $150 (One Hundred and Fifty US Dollars) and course fee of $50 (Fifty US Dollars) is to be paid to any of the designated Banks. Application form is to be filled online or downloaded from the website of the Institute, filled, scanned and submitted altogether with the scanned copies of:

  1. Certificate of business registration (for Business Owners)
  2. Academic credentials/certificates.
  3. Documents evidencing payment of $300 (Three Hundred US Dollars) registration, membership and course fees.
  4. Valid ID.

All submissions should be made to administration@cibeusa.org

Applicants are expected to take a compulsory practical refresher course which is a requisite for certification to become an associate member of the Institute.

Course Award
Once applicants have completed the Refresher Course, a Certificate of Membership will be awarded by the approval of the Board.

Membership by Examination

For college/university undergraduates.

Registration Procedures and Fees
Associate membership fees of $200 (Two Hundred US Dollars) comprising application fees $50 (Fifty  US Dollars), Membership fee $100 (One Hundred US Dollars) and Examination fee of $50 (Fifty US Dollars) are to be paid to any of the designated Banks. Application form is to be filled online or downloaded from the website of the Institute, filled, scanned and submitted altogether with the scanned copies of:

  1. Academic credentials/certificates;
  2. Documents evidencing payment of $200 (Two Hundred US Dollars) registration, membership and examination fees.
  3. Valid ID.

On confirmation of payments, candidates are to take the Institute’s Examination which comprises the following courses:

  1. Creative and Innovative Thoughts.
  2. Theory and Practice of Entrepreneurship.
  3. Discovering Entrepreneurial Opportunities and ICT.
  4. Management Principles and Practice.
The Examination comprises of 100 Multiple-Choice questions which are to be written all together.
 

Pass mark
A candidate must score a minimum of 50 marks out of 100  – equivalent to 50% – or higher to pass the examination.
Candidates who pass the examInation are granted the ‘CBE’ designation ONLY after the Certificate of membership is approved by the Board.

Retaking the Examination
A candidate who scores less than the pass mark can retake the examination by paying a reduced examination fee of $100 USD only.

Score Report
A preliminary score showing pass/fail report will be received by candidates immediately at the conclusion of their examination and also via the email address used to register.

Course Award
Once candidates have completed the Examination having obtained the required pass mark, a Certificate of Membership will be awarded by the approval of the Board.
